Kenyan fans are a crazy type especially the moment they find fault in a new development and our music industry is not left behind.
In the recent past a handful of underground artistes have come out pinpointing celebrated stars who in one way of the other poached their ideas and turned them into hits. Bora Uhai by Willy Paul was a conspicuous one.
Now this week a short video of Kristoff King Kaka’s Dundaing merged with Katalang’s 2014 released song depicting the same flow with an ….ing ending emerged on social media .
HERE IS THE SHORT VIDEO
An overwhelmingly disappointed fan went ahead to describe how the three superstars remixed the flow without a pinch of mercy for the original work owner.
Few experts also argued that there are high chances the original song Hii Track by Louie B and Katalang especially Katalang’s verse was used to create Dundaing without proper procedure.
Katalang’ however upon getting the information was hesitant to admit his song was stolen and rather praised the new song Dundaing.
Speaking to Mzuka Kibao last night he laughed out saying ,
“Hizo concerns za wakenya nimeziskia na si mbaya si mbaya they are almost making sense. On my side naona hiyo ngoma mpya ni kali. Kama waliichukua kwangu bila acknowledgement bado sawa as long as they did justice to it. However si mnajua right now am handling lots of new projects na kulalamika is not going down into my diary. Acheni Dundaing katambe.”
Hii Track by Louie B and Katalang was done in 2014 by Producer Robatoz of Batoz Music Entertainment. And it is from K-Lang’s verse one that Dundaing has been crafted.
