Young Frassman had love for football while in Kingston’s Preparatory school then little by little the musical star in him started to shine at a time he began to get nodes from a few renown music bosses.
He would then find his lyrically proficience on the “Sting Reggae Festival and Sumfest Concert. Next on the line would then become ” Bling Bling” on the Virus Riddim and that’s how calls began streaming in with big names in the game asking him out for collaborations. This was after he bested his earlier effort with “Dat Nuh Hard Fi Duh” on the NS Music Enterprise label back in 2013, a jam which saw a number of artistes ride on.Then afterwards came “Weed Head” and “Mamma Pappa Love” featuring Elephant Man and Spice respectively.
The reggae riddim music don was achieving massive international airplay with his releases “Pop Off” and “Workey Workey” which dwelled a lot on importance of self reliance and delivery of hard hitting dancehall and social vibes. He then got Laza Morgan on a song titled “We Gonna” and true to its title they were gonna blow up massively especially across Europe.
Frassman Brilliant got all proud Jamaicans reeling with nationalistic euphoria when he dropped “Welcome to Jamaica” in 2017 and boom it was !! A song which would end up becoming the ultimate marketing slogan for Jamaican Tourism Board activities plus it picked up on all major music charts across the Caribbean.
Frass did have an unforgettable show at “Magnum New Rules” alongside Mavado and Alkaline. The show is still a talk of town, save for his class act performance for the highly syndicated 11th edition of “Best of the Best” in Miami Florida, which was also stamped hard by “BB King Shutdown Free Party” alongside Konshens, Kranium and Shenseea.
Under his name “Money Hunt” and Brain Food” were released in 2018 courtesy of NS Music Enterprise and Fullchaarge Records reapectively before a Cameo appearance by Superstar Lutan Fyah in the follow up video solidified his career and claim to the glory of dancehall.
2019 would become yet another busy year for young Frass after jumping on another collaboration with Dub Tonic Kru on the song “Mr.Law’. Gyptian then made an appearance on his ” Magic” project.
“Concrete Jungle” was Frassman’s successful single of 2020 featuring Jubba White. “Allien Sport” the surreal on worldpress riddim alongside Alkaline and Mavado then followed before he dropped “Call My Number!”
According to the star collaborations are the essence of his career citing they are quite beneficial. He says a good dancehall artiste should not be limited to doing music falling only within the genre.
He joins the rest of global celebrities in bemoaning the devastating effects of COVID-19 and its effects on the music industry globally. Sad to learn that he cancelled more than 10 shows.Frass is definitely here to stay despite the many challenges the world is facing. He has promised more music .
