The story of Makambo Nicodemus is not one that can be described as a normal story , but that of a man who survived by the grace of God .
Popularly known as Nico Dee , a young and talented Contemporary singer born in the 90’s in a family of eight who would later suffer the consequences of a family fallen apart due to separation of parents after life became so difficult.
Nico was left to chose between losing it in life and picking himself up to beat all odds and face the bull by the horns.By so I mean difficult life.
His survival is attributed to little donations from well wishers, among them Monica Njiiri (Mama Monica) who he owes alot of gratitude .
Much of his appreciation also goes out to Mathare community Outreach who sponsored him through secondary education and as luck would have it, he found his way into the most admired University in the country and that is Nairobi University. At UON Nico Dee studied social work.
His music career or rather singing talent dates back to years back when he was a young boy listening to alot of Congolese superstar Awilo Longomba and Kenya’s Dunia Mbaya hitmaker Princess July.
Nico Dee has promised to release alot more of his works asking Kenyans to standby for his amazing new releases soon to come.
