December 1990 Meru born venarcular musician Tan P is a Kenyan Christian music artiste with a charm for contemporary music . He does have a vast library of Meru language composed songs ,with a calling for the gospel ministry.

Tan P Education:

Tan P joined Kigarine Primary school in Meru and sat for his KCPE exams in the year 2005 before joining Chuka Boys High School and sitting for his KCSE in 2009.

He would later enroll for a journalism course at Multimedia University of Kenya and graduated in 2013.

Far and not so far from music ,he is also a TV Studio technician at Multimedia University of Kenya.

Tan P family:
Born and raised in a family of six members. His father James Mbaabu M`kiaira,his mother Catherine Miriko M`Ithinji,his elder brother Michael Mutuma,his younger brother Milton Mutugi and their last born only girl Polly Ngugi,

His musical Journey began in 2013 at a Katarina studio owned by Jack Kabu ,where he debuted three songs.
He would later release three more songs namely : Baba Wajua,Mpe Muda and Mwari .The latter is a Meru vernacular composition.

On 15 th April 2018 Tan P met one of the greatest household names producer Victor Mutungi famed for Vicky Pon Dis who eventually turned his song “Mpa” into a street anthem.

Four months later, Tan P became the darling of all Meru Tv and Radio Stations soon after releasing “Kuuku” ,a song that got massive airplay.

Through the many challenges experienced in the music industry and so far Gospel ministry ,he has learnt quite alot , both heart breaking and motivational instances that changed his life in many different ways.

His latest solo , “Jukia” was also produced producer Vicky Pon Dis and released in December 2019

Tan P plans to continue with the ministry, for as long as the good Lord keeps him alive.
He also aspires to climb up the ladder by collaborating with several gospel artists both established and upcoming in the effort of expanding the ministry.

He plans on writing his future songs in both Swahili and English so as to reach a wider audience cum funbase.
