B-classic releases debut single dubbed ‘Baby I Swear’

Kenyan singer and songwriter B-classic has released his debut single and music video dubbed ‘Baby I Swear’.

The song produced by Champion Records is an authentic sound by the fast rising act and is set to light up hearts across East Africa and even beyond in no time.

With this song, B-classic delivers a heartfelt serenade to his love interest, with mellow yet powerful vocals.

According to the singer, ‘Baby I Swear’ was inspired by a series of true events.

B-classic further explains that the sing is very relatable to most young people as it tells a story of a young man who is ready to do anything for a woman he loves revealing how she makes him crazy.

The music video perfectly captures this and will leave fans and new admirers swooning over his infectious delivery.

The video was directed by Adam – a Kenyan cinematographer – of Royal State Pictures while the audio was done by Top Layer On the beat -Kenyan audio Producer – of Champion records.

This release becomes his first project following his recent signing to Champion Records – a music label founded by Joel and Brian Lishenga.

Who is B-classic?

Officially known as Dennis Manja, B-classic is progressively building a niche as one of Kenyas fast rising acts.

The singer was born in Taveta and was unfortunately neglected by his mother at a tender age forcing him to be a street kid.

He was taken in by a Somali woman who they later parted ways as he went to Mombasa to search for greener pastures.

In Mombasa he was offered a job as a herdsman where he worked for 10 months without payment, he was forced to quit the job and luckily landed a hotel job where he worked and in return he was given food.

B-classic later discovered his singing talent after a friend convinced him that he is a good singer .

The multi-instrumentalist – Bass, Acoustic & Electric Guitar – breaths and lives music, describing his sound as an eclectic fusion of the live instruments, and electronic elements creating a unique and fresh urban African sound.

B-classic has graced notable stages across East Africa with top acts such as; Sudi Boy, Ally B, Jua Cali among many stars.

His songs include Unakill released in 2018, Fundi (2019) and his latest Baby I Swear.

B-classic promises to release more records in the coming months. He is certainly one of fast rising and talented Kenyan acts to watch for in 2020.
